After a meal of delicious swordfish, salad and fries, we wandered back towards big Plaza Antonio near our apartment. It’s not much of a surprise that it takes a starring role in the Carnival festivities due to the space.
The Spanish party late into the night, the music didn’t stop until midnight.
February 28, 2025
Exciting day, laundry at home and then a walk to the Lavandería for the dryers. Our usually lightly used laundromat is packed with locals and French backpackers. While I was waiting for an available dryer a parade went by.
Madly packing up as much as we can and still have out what we need in the morning. Also trying to eat up food from the refrigerator, especially the homemade marinara.
After preparing as much as possible we decided to take one more foray out and about to the Cádiz Cathedral Plaza.
We stopped for a quick Sushi snack and started back for bed. Nine pm and the music hasn’t even started.
We have a fairly early morning with a 9 am bus to Seville, then a 1 pm bus to Lisbon. Can you believe it!! No train to Lisbon, so 5 1/2 hours on the bus.
